Wrong item selected when moving to the parent directory

Question

How to reproduce:

1. go to a folder with some subfolders
2. enter the top-most subfolder
3. press backspace to go back to the parent folder
4. the ".." item is now selected instead of the subfolder you just returned from

This only happens with the top-most subfolder and might be related to the "Select first item after folder is listed" preference (unchecked).
